March Sale!

March is a month full of holidays, if you look close enough at the calendar!  The 14th is Pi Day, the 15th is the Ides of March, and of course the 17th is St. Patrick's Day. Last year, Santa Claus and the Arizonauts experienced the best and worst of these tumultuous times, as St. Nick tried to reconnect with his humanity by driving a cab in the Valley, only to have some leprechauns flee their fare on Mill Avenue.  It probably happens more often than you'd think!  Fortunately, the mishap gave Santa a chance to use his new utility belt . . .

The Donald Trump/Amazing Arizona Comics Connection (UPDATE)

Donald Trump's frequent visits to Phoenix during his Presidential campaign may be the first times he and Sheriff Joe Arpaio have appeared together on stage publicly, but readers of my local superhero satire Amazing Arizona Comics know that the two have met before.  They actually share a birthday -- June 14, Flag Day -- so, by their birthright and celebrity, they also share a title as Agents of F.L.A.G.!  

That's right: When American iconography is threatened, the spirit of Betsy Ross summons those influential celebrities born on Flag Day to protect our nation's strongest symbols . . . as The Agents of F.L.A.G.!  This pin-up appeared in Amazing Arizona Comics #12. . . and foreshadows a story to come.

Donald Trump's harsh views of immigration are no stranger to Amazing Arizona Comics readers, either, as first revealed in this strip from back in November 2012, when Trump, Arpaio, and others were still clamoring for copies of President Obama's birth certificate.  Here is the strip, reprinted in its entirety.
